What stain and clear did you use on this snare? I'd really like to make something like this, it looks awesome! Brand and specific color/gloss please.

2 coats of Transfast Dark Green water soluble stain with the edges slightly sprayed with Transfast water soluble Black stain, and then about 20 coats of Minwax Gloss Wipe on Poly.

Yes it is but you don't need an airbrush to use it. You can apply it with a foam brush or rag.....except for where I sprayed on the black. I sprayed on the black to get a sort of burst effect.

It says right on the bottle. I think it's something like a bottle of dye to two quarts of water or something like that. The stuff lasts forever tooand is really easy to use.

PJ, this is one of the reasons why I admire you. There are a ton of guys out there who wouldn't give this kid the time of day.
