So manny folks put Terry down for havin such a big kit...That's crazy IMO..He has the opportunity to do it and I give him my blessings...At one time Gene Krupa was know to be one of the 1st to record on a full drum kit..That ( i think ) was a four piece..So that'll tell ya something..Jeeeezz, I would LOVE to play that thing..!!

I've seen Bozzio play that set a couple of times at clinics and I'm always amazed at his abilities. He uses his drumset in a more orchestral manner, opposed to 2 & 4 playing. He is the first one to admit that his set is WAY more than the average drummer could ever need and for regular gigs, he uses a much smaller set. A set that big is not my cup of tea, but I've seen the way he uses it as a voice and his ostinatos are always great. Some of his musical theories are a little "out there" for me but I applaud his trying to use the drumset in a different way.
