I'm a huge Tommy Lee fan.. He's not a complex drummer but has great grooves , and comes up with some kool fills. Also check out crue album ' Motley Crue ' with song track ' Hooligans Holiday ' on it. This album to me had some of Tommy's best playing on it.

Here's the rum down on his kit:

Drums
DW Collector's Series Maple Drums
Chrome Hardware
5x14 Satin Oil Edge Snare Drum
11x14 Tom-Tom
13x16 Tom-Tom
14x18 Tom-Tom
16x26 Bass Drum
18x32 Bass Drum

9002 Double Pedal
9500 Hi-Hat Stand
9300 Snare Drum Stand (x2)
9900 Double Tom Stand
9700 Cymbal Stand (x5)
Floor Tom Legs
9100 Drum Throne

Here's his cymbal set-up

The Crue album containing "Hooligan's Holiday" is outstanding, in my opinion. That was the self-titled album with John Corabi (Ex-The Scream) taking over for Vince Neil, who had left the band for a short-lived solo career. That record was tons heavier than anything MC had put out previously. Although there were a couple dissapointments on it ("Smoke The Sky" is a blatant copy of their own "Kickstart My Heart"), the album absolutely POUNDS from beginning to end, and Tommy's playing was spectacular, along with the engineering of his drum sounds.

Tommy's current kit is the DW kit finished in red fur. That's right, fur.

Also Tommy has alot of kits ..basically same drum sizes. I think in the last years I've seen him play 4 different kits.

I think Tommy's coolest part of his kit though is the " titty cam " AGREE? lol
