i recently decided to buy a third snare drum, but i already had the two sounds i liked, so i took the bottom head of, and tuned it to a tom. when i play it, it produces MUCH more bass than my real floor tom.
ideally, i will be buying a tom to do the job, as soon as i get the spending money, but has anyone else ever done this?
