questions about bpm measuring device

What is the thing called that you use to measure bpm?
and
What is a price range for one?
and any other information about them would be cool to
so thanks for any info. i get :)

its called a metronome. and you can get ones for as cheap as $10 or i'm sure theres probly a $100 metronome out there somewhere. probly around $30 for a nice one

Yeah, metronome, and if you're talking about the thing used for wfd and stuff like that, it's called a Drumometer.

Haha, I remember that pic of your practice kit you made on an old forum. You should pm how you did it. I need to build one for lessons, and I don't wanna buy one for 150 bucks.
