I can tell you dont do much fast bass pedal work. Parallel legs i promise you, is just gonna fatigue your hip flexors faster...but whatever works. I like your set-up. Very unique yet simple. I wonder tho...why didnt you just go with a 2 ply head and ditch the remO's?

ya know, i tried that. and theres somekind of smoothness to the rings with a single ply head that i fell in love with. cant really explain it. but i love it. and i tried the sitting up a little higher for the double kick, and it helped but, since i dont do like 16th notes at 180 bpm for 5 minutes ( lol ) i like to sit a little lower, i feel like with the pedal settings i can get more whip/power out of the pedals. and not only that, i sometimes have back problems and it helps me sit up straight with the lowered throne. thanks though man

hey thanks james, ide love to see your kit! and howepirate, i love the dragons dude. ive tried all the popular pedals. and i mean tried, like really messed with them, and this one just fit. i really like the powershifter though. but the flying dragon feels the same as the DW9000 to me. very smooth responsive action. not to mention, i really love everything yamaha produces. im a huge endorser of yamaha.

That's an interesting placement of your toms. I might steal it. I've been looking for a way to retrain my brain from doing all high to low fills.

One more thing. Do you use the double pedal on fills and such? I just play a single, I'm not really into speed. I might get one though just for another voice for my kit you know?

ya i know what you mean man, honestly. i dont use double kick in my fills much. like at all. i really use single kick most of the time. the double is just there as more of an accent. but every little thing helps. i'de get one.

diggin it man!... flyin dragons rule too!.. i have them also... best buy i've ever made.. i would do a walk through vid with my kit but it's at my guitar player's house and they would probably lynch me if i told them to leave so i could make a vid of my drums..lol.. but when i get my kit home, i will make one.
