not as flashy as some of the ones I've seen on here (very nice by the way guys) but this does me fine.... :)

This is my Pearl Export that I got 2nd hand about 6 years ago now I think - it came with pearl cymbals but I got rid of them and got the ones shown here... the kit is actually a 7piece but I just set up a 6 piece at present due to my double BD pedal not reaching over far enough (not shown here I took it off for something)

And when you get the money, if you like Sabian still, upgrade to some AAX's or Vaults, or if you want the darker sound, HHX's.

Yea I like the kit - does what I need it to :)

Love Sabian cymbals and will take on the advise on future ones to get :) I usually like to try out some stuff before I buy so I get the sound I want so will make sure I play on each.

Certainly certainly! I fell in love with my Sabian 16" Vault crash rather quick so that was like bang. I always had liked hitting the Sabian Vault Hi Hats, and so I got those... now I am looking at an 18", 20", and 20" Vaults, crashes and ride. Also I have a 14" AAX Studio Crash and I really liked the sound and price. So I chose it over the Zildjian A Custom (just out of my price range) and the Zildjian A, just didn't sound quite as good.

yea, you know, I had always considered Zildjian cymbals, but always out of my price range, but I've heard some Zildjian sets (don't ask which I have no idea lol) and dunno....... just seems something about Sabian that often gives that extra little edge you want.

I think Zildjian is for people who like complicated stuff.... like that long name... whilst Sabian is for people who want a nice simple name.... and Paiste is just for a freakin' weird name! I have no clue where I am going with this now! lol I've been up all night XD

HAHA!! Nice theory!

I nearly went Sabian. But stuck with Zildjian after hitting some A Customs... ironically Sabian were more expensive here than Zildjian, one of the reasons I picked the A Cutsoms.

Well I know that Vaults tend to be just barely more expensive than A Customs... and Vaults seem to be taking over me and becoming like my main favorite type of cymbal.... I would rather have Paiste Sig Reflectors, but they are just a bit too expensive.. so yah.
