I need a higher quality one for not that much money. I would prefer one that doesn't do this:

I don't know what you mean by "not that much" money, but try this one:

If that's too much, try this one:

Both of these pedals are good quality construction for their price and you can't go wrong with them.

You just need a new beater for now. If you want to upgrade without going much higher, check out the Pearl P1000, the Tama HP200, or the DW 7000. All under $150.

Hey Delux:

All suggestions so far are good ones, but I'm curious: How in the hell did you manage to dent that shaft rod, but the felt doesn't have a flat area on it? As hard as you must have been stompin on that thing, I'm surprised the felt didn't go first.

:?

I'm Lovin my Double Iron Cobra Power Glide...The more I practice with it the more I love it..Other pedals I have/had seem to bug me the more I practice with em...!!

But yeah..If you like your pedal just get another beater..!!

One of my favorite pedals I have is a 25-30 yr old Gretch single..It needs a new strap tho and I'm using the double these days..!!

I personally have the Iron Cobra Powerglide Double right now, although I don't seem to be using the slave a whole lot at the moment....

All I'd say is don't rush into anything, make your own opinions on different pedals by trying them out first hand in a shop. Pedals all feel different and you don't want to buy a pedal you don't get on with, regardless of how many other people love em!
