Two of the 3 kits we have in the house. Mine is a 2001 Pacific LX Maple in Laser Blue.

Here is my sons. It's a Sunlite kit he saved up for himself at age 11. Santa was nice and got him the Meinl cymbals. He also bought new Evens EC2 to go on them.

nice pdp kit man, havent see those tom mounting systems for ages.

do u and ur son do any drum battles or drum duets?
ha I was just gonna ask that
At least once a week we get to see who is going to push the other one. The little punk practices an hour or 2 a day when he is with me, so he's starting to push me a bit.

When I practice with a group of guys that come to the house he usually plays 4 or 5 improv jams with them and doesn't do to bad. He's only 11 and started last year... :D

how do you like the ec2 heads i think im about to order some
I really like them. I can get a full range out of them. I just did a metal recording and tuned my set really low and a few weeks ago, I was doing some jazzy stuff and went with a high tuned heads and they worked great. I also pound on them and they hold up well.

Thanks man. It's all him and my little girl. They both do piano and he has a guitar. It was his choice. My props would have to go to my wife. She has to deal with us.

Very nice PDP kit. I grew up playing the older model of those Sunlites.
Thanks. My son really likes the Sunlite. He up-graded his to include suspended toms. I was surprised to hear the difference it made. For the money it is a great starter and should last him a few years until he gets better.

Definitely is a great starter kit ... I rocked mine for 7 years until I got the Ludwig Maples that my younger brother has now.
