I just made myself a bunch of signature sticks and threw them in my coffin case. I have to say this may the most metal thing i'v ever seen.

theyre painted with black acrylic paint then splattered in red. the tips are stained with a nice nautral wood color (to prevent paint n my heads and cymbals) and theyre finished with a few coats of sray on polyurathane.

OMG... I don't OWN drumsticks long enough to decorate them! I buy a box, I break them, I buy some more.

BUT... it IS seriously metal!

the coffin case is an actual drumstic case. the same company make guitar cases. I make alot of different sticks with stains and paint. i posted a whole thread with pictures and stuff. ("i started making my own sticks") I would be willing to sell them but right now the spray on polyurathane coating isnt the most durable thing in the world (though i'd think it would be) and it leaves little marks on my cymbals. any suggestions for a more durable clear coat woud be greatly appreciated

try getting your hands on some automotive clearcoat stuff. i dont know if its polyeurethane like what your using, but it does seem to be pretty durable.

I'v broken 2 so far. I only break sticks over my ride bell. its just so damn hard. hitting further down on the bell would fix this problem, as you get better projection and i wouldnt have to hit as hard. gonna have to work on that
