I cleaned my zildjian ZBTs with groove juice recently and was very pleased with the results. However, about a month after i cleaned them they developed some dark brown stains around the bell...any suggestions?

I had the same problem, too much groove juice is always a problem. I think you just have to clean them regularly or your screwed with dark brown stains after a month of not cleaning :(

I hope thats not the case but that is what happened to me

Yes, read the label on the bottle - it specifically says not to use it on budget cymbals, like the ZBTs. They have a coating on them, and GJ strips it off. There's not really anything you can do to replace the coating.

Even on regular cymbals, you need to rinse the groove juice off with lots of water and dry them with a clean towel.
