are they in any way related to camco? the lugs look like the same ones camco made before their equipment was bought by dw and tama. those drums look awesome, too. thin maple shells with re-rings? bet they sound awesome.

George Way invented the lug. He started making drums around '56 or '57. The shells are 3 ply Jasper w/rerings. In 1961 he made many changes like changing to a 4 ply shell. So many changes in fact that it put him into debt with the Camco Hardware Co. Camco took over in late '61 and began making drums under the Camco name in '62.

The BDP kit is the best sounding kit I own. I favor the green sparkle but for some reason it doesn't sound quite as good as the BDP kit.
