Here we can all talk about our personal favorite drummers
and the greatest. I'll leave it up to you guys to named the
obivous ones, but my personal favs are

Aaron Gillespie - underoath
Josh Kulick - Through the eyes of the dead
travis barker - All his bands
Jon Karel - the number twelve looks like you

these guys arnt the greatest but i love there style and speed

Some recent drummers that I have found that I like are Mike Mangini, Akira Jimbo, and Michael "Moose" Thomas.

But, some of my other favorite drummers are Dave Grohl, Danny Carey, John Bonham, Neil Peart, Vinnie Paul, and Teri Bozzio.

My personal favorite drumer is Dan Carry (Tool) for his technicality and style.
Somemore of my favorits are Vinnie Paul(Pantera,Damage Plan), John Bohnam(Led Zepplin), Jordan Moncino (im not sure if thats how you spell it but As I Lay Dyings drumer), and Alex Axentrot (Opeth)
There all amazing.

Marco Minneman (sp?)
Chad Sexton
Bonham, Ringo, Moon, Ginger Baker (of course)
Martin Lopez (Opeth: he makes it look so easy!)
My personal hero, though, is Stewart Copeland.

Terry Bozzio (again... of course)
Chad Sexton (great technique and incredible feel!)
Matt Chamberlain (Can't beleive his name hasn't come up already, probably THE MOST DIVERSE AND MUSICAL DRUMMER EVER!)

i havent heard much of him
but i picked a drum mag a month ago
and he's all over it with endorsments.

Dave Lombardo (Slayer) Corey Taylor (Slipknot) Travis Smith (Trivium) Chris Adler (Lamb of God) and Bill Ward (Black Sabbath). I cant believe no one said these yet; am I the only metalhead drummer on this site?! :evil: :twisted: :lol: All of these you guys are saying are great drummers though.

My top five are:

Roger Taylor - Queen (one of the most underrated drummers ever, in my opinion)
Ginger Baker - Cream
Keith Moon - The Who
John Bonham - Led Zeppelin
Neil Peart - Rush

Honourable mentions go to Ian Paice, Mitch Mitchell, Charlie Watts, Simon Kirke, and Meg White (mostly because I think she's really hot).

I have plenty more but i'm sitting in class right now and my teacher is making me work so yea...

dude, Corey Tayler is the lead singer from slipknot. You are thinking of Joey Jordison who is one of my personal favorite drummers.
