I'm trying version 2 is it would download. I may just use 3D Studio MAX and use the images in the drum blue prints software to make it easier. Great concept for a free program though.

Ok must be firefox stopping the DrumKit software from working so I put it on my new machine here's my set. I know I need more cymbals at least I think I do. This is all birch shells.

Ok new to photobucket. Figure all these years as a web junkie I would have had it down. Freaking dame bramage. All birch shells H.B. Drum set would prefer a Ludwig or a DW. That will be next after I finish the cymbals, mic's and a 8 input tascam recorder. Could have had a great down payment on a new truck.

If you want to see me suck at playing it let me know. Been a long time.

Yeah would be nice to find a black 20 inch floor tom and 2 more toms on the first bass drum and a remote DW Hi hat off the first bass drum on the left to bring it closer to the snare. Put a 15 inch Hi Hat on it. Then take the old extra hi hat on the right and put the 2 leg dw over there with the ZBT on it.
I just wish I played better like I used to. Will take more practice to to get back to where I was. The double bass drum is fun never used one before. I had a nice Ludwig Rocker all 602's Paiste with a killer pearl roto tom snare only 3 in the world from KISS when the Fox played. 15 inch by 12 deep. Wood shell wrapped in chrome. The person who has it now has no clue what they have a 3 of a kind. I was a fool to sell it all off, but I didn't think I would ever play drums again. I thought my days were over. Not doing bad with all the titanium in my neck. I actually tried to see if they sold the titanium Zildjain cymbals to march my neck.

Here's what it looks like with out the new cymbals

The bass setup is very much like mine, two toms on the second, none on the first. I like the all blackness! Is the kit any good itself? Never heard of the company...

The kit really sounds great. I was shocked when I first tuned it to a deep tone and was happy wit the Evans tuner. It needed the Evans tom dampeners. I actually need to replace the head with all Evans. HB drums is part of SurfCity Instruments which used to be Moody Music. The only problem with it were the bass head rings were out of round. Still If I would have paid 300.00 more I could have purchased a Ludwig or DW. This is their mid range set. The Duke is their newest and I really like the looks of it. The bass pedals that came with it were like old CB 500 pedals and would whack the heck out of your shine so I got the DW5000. The Hi hat stand was just ok like a CB 500 so I went and got a DW 2 leg. To replace that I'll get a remote HH and put his one on the right. I like it for double bass closed HH. Instead of the quick release. So with the new cymbal stand I went and got the heavy duty boom stands. The free cymbals were crap.
They call this the Stealth Black Midnite Series Drums
http://www.hbdrums.com/ you can actually listen to how they sound on their site
Look at the Duke Series Drums
They said they were all hand made in their factory so I was shocked to see the made in China sticker especially when I thought I was supporting a US made produce from my home town H.B F.V area.
Cost was 556.00 around there with the extra bass they gave me a myspace friends deal. The hardware on the bass drums are excellent. Oh yeah I also put a 30 spring snare rattle on the one that came with it had to much residual rattle with the deep tune of thunder.

I know considering the cymbals and stands cost 2.5 times more then the drums. Need a nice fat floor tom at least 20 inch
I was considering Masters of Maple drums but the cost for the same set would have been 2500.00

Very cool program...thank you much! Here's my big setup that I use in the practice room and larger gigs. Most gigs are just a basic 5 pc fusion setup..with a small cymbal setup. When possible, I also like to postion my secondary hi-hats and other things..like Zil-Bels, cowbells, etc.....over my Ride Cymbal....so that I can do a cool little trick that's been a favorite of mine since way back when. You alternate your sticking between the top of your ride cymbal and the bottom of whatever you have positioned above it. I like it with the other hats....you can basically get a "cross sticking" effect in 1 motion. And if you're proficient enough to throw in accents with your left hand..ala...ghost notes on snare, 16th's on the hat's, cymbals, bells..etc....you sound like an octapus! :)
