I just went to the metal blade 25t anniversary show with cannibal corpse, the black dahlia murder, the red chord, goatwhore, and the absence. It was an amazing show, and i was surpised to see that 3 out of the 5 drummers (cannibal corpse, TBDM, and the absence) used Ddrum kits. i havent heard to much about these kits but it seems like metal drummers are starting to use them more often. any one else notice this?

Yeah, they're getting huge with metal drummers. Megadeth's drummer and Triviums drummer use them now.
For awhile Travis from Trivium was their only large endorser worth mentioning and they were actually advertising openly for endorsement applications online. I love my Ddrums. I love my DW's too.... but I don't worry when something bumps or is spilled on my Ddrums.

yea they sounded amazing live. Its seems to me like they pretty much market for punk drummers. is there a more "metal" line of drums by them?

Shawn from Megadeth's Bubinga kit is pretty damn metal. IMO.

They're endorsing artist might be using they're custom shop drums, which are VERY nice, much nicer than the regular drums they make. They're regular stuff is nothing to sneeze at though, I played a set of Dominion Maples and they sounded pretty bitchin.

nice but overpriced
ddrum overpriced???
Yeah really, haha. Ddrum makes some of the cheapest higher end kits. I wouldn't put them against custom kits or anything like that, but for all maple shells and die-cast hoops, I don't think you can beat a 5 piece for around 700 bucks.

All i have to say is Tim Yeung
i cant say i know who this is.
Worlds fastest drummer for singles on the bass drum. Yes he did beat Tim Waterson. No Tim Waterson has the record for fastest feet period...using heel-toe.

I don't think he beat Waterson's record, his singles record is still to 1030, and his heel toe record is 1407, Tim Yueng did 872 in a minute, he was the fastest at that particular WFD
