I;ve been playing drums for a couple years now and ive owned a Sonor force 505 set for just over a year. I've added on a high 10" taye tom and a 18" taye floor tom, but lately I've been considering buying a new drumset - I've been considering the pearl Exr 8 piece, or any Tama, i dont know enough though. So any suggestions would be appreciated. :D

I don't think getting another entry level set to replace an entry level set is a good idea. Were I you, I'd look at getting a good pro or semi pro level kit secondhand.

Have a look on ebay to check out how much these kits sell for and compare it to your budget.

Wahst your budget. And if this is your last kit for a while I would suggest not just looking at 2 companies expand a bit more and just go to the drum store look at kits in your price range.Don't go for brand name go for the sound you want.
