John Cole - Psyopus

Brad Fickeisen - The Red Chord

Two of my favorite bands and drummers right now. Also whoever is drumming with into eternity right now. I think they just got a new drummer so I'm not sure who it is. Anybody know?

... ooops, I think you meant Gene Hogland for Death
As for my 2 cents, Hannes from Necrophagist, and all four guys that recorded for The Faceless.

Hoglan...no "d" on the end. Sorry for splitting hairs.

And yeah you're absolutely right. Chuck was the guitarist and songwriter. The genius behind Death.

the negrophagist drummer is damn good, i know someone said his name but i won't lie...i dont know!
and martin lopez is good too but he doesn't have a death metal style to me, of course is double bass is great but the rest of what he is doing isn't quite death metal to me

don't have a favorite, all equally enjoyed.
i listen to way too much metal to stay focused on one person when every drummer is unique as it is.
