What drumming magazines do you read?
I myself read Modern Drummer - mainly for the exercises and tracks transcriptions :)

It is more than a metaphor:
It is a physical experience as real as any other.

I always read Modern Drummer. Have been since about 1980. I just pulled out a 23 year old copy the other day to reread it and it was great. Guess who the up and coming guy was; Kenny Aronoff! :D

Rhythm is also very good. But I don't get it as often as MD because much of the content is of no interest to me. They usually have the same guys MD has, only a month later.
I don't know what I'm talking about!

I've just got my hands on "Drummer" and I must say it is really nice to read something different than MD :)
