I make people on fire look like good dancers.

Noddy Holder was on R2 last week discussing the same issue, you can tell a drummer at a dance, he's at the bar.

i'm not a good dancer. but i love to dance. i'm not a good singer but i love to sing too. i think dancing helps to understand drumming. these days when i learn a drumming exercise i think of the rhythm as dance moves.

That's an excellent question.

I can slow dance, sort of. But who can't.

So in other words, no, I can't dance for shit. :P

Glad to see I'm not the only drummer that can't.

A drummer that actually dances?

That'll be the day!

*singing*

'Cause, I can't dance, I can't talk.
Only thing about me is the way I walk.
No, I can't dance, I can't sing
I'm just standing here selling.
And checking everything is in place,
you never know who's looking on....

that is too funny...but so true.
We have all the groove...but can't dance at all...

you guys should dig some break dancers on youtube some time....it's insanity what these folks can do.

Great post! I can't dance but I do because I have a fine ass Asian wife who likes to. The way I see it...everyone is looking at her so who cares what the non-dancing Drummer looks like out there. Yes...drummers have plenty of rythm...put us behind a drum kit and we'll blow you away...put us on a dance floor and we'll make you laugh!! Peace!

well i think i am a good dancer ... but it depends on the level of inebriation and what music is on. i just like moving me body to the beat, thats why i got me drumkit.
