Metal, and Rock. Both are fun to play. I like playing stuff like Alice and Chains and Stone Temple Pilots, just as much as I like playing stuff like Lamb of God and Slayer.

Im a metalhead myself and it's my primary style when playing. But i don't let it limit me to branch out.

I can't let my beats get stagnant :x
Falling down the stairs at the age of five was my first drum solo.

One may consider me a rock drummer, simple, groove, laidback vs. pushing, loud. .. But I'm working on my "metal" skills like fast double base and uptempo beats and 16th rolls over all toms an stuff .. :) I have a nice little project playing that kind of stuff and its fun for me to watch me going nuts on the set.. It's like a bungee jump: woooooo now the break comes the break comes .. :D It's really good for me I need to learn to play more relaxed to get the fast stuff done.

I think its my duty as a drummer to be able to play a lot of different styles and feels.

I play metal for my band and I love metal, but I play almost any other style. I try not to limit my drumming to one genre of music. And who doesn't love some good fusion stuff eh? I play whatever is called for.

I used to play metal but just didn't find it to be as much fun as funk, jazz, blues, or just straight rock. i like playing stuff that i can just sit back and groove with.

I play music! I listen to everything, and have been in Prog metal, Classic metal, Alt. Rock, Blues, Funk, and most recently, Alt. Country/Roots Rock bands. I like it all. I would love to play in a setting where you could play some balls-to-the-wall metal and blues in the same gig!

I see my band as more of a 'wood' band than metal or rock. Maybe it's just me though...
