Ha! That really is me sitting in front of them though. :P

I don't own a digital camera, and my avatar pic was taken by someone else, so I will try and post a pic of my kit as soon as I am able. Trust me, it won't compare to this one though. Haha.

It is indeed sir! The one and only. I could barely keep myself from drooling on it haha. He sent it out on tour last year. I was fortunate enough to go see it when it came to Toronto.

And they sound fantastic. DW's VST technology is something else. The bass drum is only 14" deep, but it sounds just absolutely MASSIVE. I was knocked over by the sound. His tech Lorne was there and messed around a bit for us, even though he doesn't play. Too bad The Professor himself wasn't there... :(

The drummer for a Polish band IRA has the same finish, also with golden hardware :)
Mapex, Istanbul Agop, Attack, Vater/O4D.
I want an endorsement :)

That sure is a lovely kit. Where and why was it set up?

Shalaq: Wow! Even with the holograms? Sweet!

Dale: It was set up at Just Drums music store in Toronto. Last year Neil decided to send his kit out on a little tour of music stores across the United States and Canada so that his fans could get a really closeup look at it and snap photos. And also to promote DW and Sabian of course. Admission was free. His drum tech Lorne Wheaton was there to answer any questions, as well as Mark Love, the Sabian cymbal specialist that Neil worked with when designing his Paragons, and the DW Rep that helped design the drums. His name eludes me at the moment though, unfortunately.

That's his set, with UFIP Tiger cymbals(not his). There are only toms on the pic, no snare.

right-
they're all locked into receptacles on the riser base.
Makes setup quick and reduces clutter on the floor.
Cool idea, but man those drums really bounce and shake with no tripod legs on the stands...

Yeah but it looks freaking awesome in my opinion. It's almost as if his drums are alive and grooving along with his playing. Hahaha. Yeah I know, that's a silly thought.

But obviously it doesn't hinder his playing at all.

I love all of it....except the electric part. :P
I proudly play with Tama (snare drums), PDP, Sabian, LP, Paiste, Vic Firth, Aquarian (bass and snare heads), and Remo (tom heads)brands! My biggest drummer influences are Mic Fleetwood, Nicko McBrain, and Mike Portnoy.

That's one SEXY beast - the Peart one that is!

I think I would have went round and licked each and every one of them drums and cymbals... maybe i could absorb some of neil's sheer drummin' greatness!!! :o
