best buy-sabian tight ride
worst buy-ive only bought that ride, my bright crash was a gift.

my fav thing about sabian is that theyre cymbal packs are about 70 bucks cheaper than zildjian cymbal packs, like 770 for zil A pack and 700 for a vault pack.

btw, how do vaults sound? Ive got an empty space on my kit that needs to be filled. more importantly, how bright are they? I love bright cymbals.

for sabian, they're pretty bright. a little bit of that "glassy" sound one normally associates with paiste. my 19" crash has a really good dynamic range.

I started on on Zil's, and moved over to Sabians....Mostly because I found a few that I really liked alot, and built on that! I now run 2 Hand Hammered's, 2 AAX (1 explosion, 1 studio), AA fusion hats, and an old school Pro ride......I like the sounds, I like the mix of dark and bright in my setup, gives me alot of versatility in voices.......

I'm still looking for a good deal on some Zil Projection crashes though, for stage use....
