Pearl are nice Drums and I do own a 1982 7pc Pearl Professional MLX Piano Black...like Jeff Pocaro kit....very warm & solid sounding drums.

It's exceptionally beautiful...the entire kit (all it's shells) are Varnished PIANO BLACK not only Externally of the shell, but Internally too......take away all the Rims and all you see is Black, black & black (the entire kit) except for the Lugs....

I was lucky enough to start off with a Pearl EX kit, black on black, and Ziljian ZXT cymbals, so I'm really really happy to have it. I love em. They're great. Yay!

I own a Pearl Session Custom set. It's freaking awesome!!! The drums sound so nice. It's the first Pearl set I've ever bought, and it's convinced me to stick with this brand. Hopefully my next kit will be a Pearl Reference set, but that's not for another 10 years or so. Also, the pearl hardware is pretty damn solid! 8)

I've had many Pearl drums over the years. These days much of my percussion is made up of Pearl instruments. My congas, bata, djembe, bongos and assorted percussion is Pearl. I plan to have some good photos taken of my set up soon and will then post some pictures. That is if I ever get all my instruments in one place at a time.

Pearl has some photos I'll link of instruments in the colours I have.

I mount them on this stand.

Pearl Elite fibreglass djembe in deep orchid.

Pearl Elite bata in natural finish. I have all three.

I chose Pearl over Meinl, LP and Toca because I felt they offered the best price, best materials and the best heads and of course the best sound. I much prefer my Elites over the LPs.

I'll have shots of my own as soon as I am able.

In my opinion and many others the best sets out there. I look up to Neal Peart and his set is Pearl. Pearl has to be the most used drumset company out there!

Neil plays DW and before that it was TAMA. As far as I'm aware.

Pearl is absolutley incredible, hardware and peddles, right on up to the incredible tones the drums make. They are the most versatile sounding drums I have ever played. Hence the reason I have to use them for all of my projects.

I endorse em and they don't even pay me to do so!

That's how good they are!
