THAT'S A TOUGH QUESTION BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT DRUMMERS OUT THERE. ALL DRUMMERS INSPIRE ME, NO MATTER WHAT PLAYING LEVEL THEY'RE AT. I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT FOR OLD SCHOOL ROCK IAN PAICE-DEEP PURPLE. BUT CHAD SMITH-RHCP FOR TODAYS MOSAIC OF ROCK/FUNK. THE DRUMMER/BAND THAT INFLUENCED ME TO START PLAYING WAS PETER CRISS-KISS
ROCK ON!!!!

Also Neil Peart, Alex VanHalen, Nigel Glockner"Saxon" and Peter Criss.
I got to kick back with both Franki Banali and Mick Brown when my band KARMA10 open up for them at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.

Oh yes, he's superb. I met him in a bar on the Isle of Wight once, he was staying with Mark King of Level42 (when he was in 42) and we spoke in depth about cymbals.

A year later I saw them at Portsmouth Guildhall and he remembered me, he said" Oh yeah, your the cymbal guy"

Top bloke

Isle of Wight and Portsmouth are in the south of England.

I LOVE Josh Freese, he gets so into it when he plays live.
And I will second that Travis Barker kicks ass because he does. :)
