i like 2B

compared to others, 2Bs just feel like theres more "meat" in my hands, if you will.

I'm starting to like a bigger stick now, it must be down to the strength developing in my hands and wrists. I remember feeling uncomfortable with 5As about five months ago and liked using 7As instead, but now they feel like twiglets. Going to buy some 5Bs at the weekend and also some 2Bs to try out.

This is my stick progression from when I started...if I remember correctly...

Zildjian 5A Nylon tip
Zildjian John Otto Signature
Ahead Lars Ulrich Signature
Vic Firth Rock
Vic Firth 5B Nylon tip
Johnny Rabb 5B wood tip
Promark 474 Nylon tip
Promark Japanese Oak 474 nylon tip
Vic Firth 5A Nylon tip
Vic Firth Dave Weckl Evolution

...and now I'm back to good old Vic Firth 5A Nylon. I still love the feel of the Evolutions and have a pair, but I wasn't happy about the wood tips getting breaking too easily and the glossy finish makes it hard to grip if my hands get sweaty. I guess I could always sand it off...hmm..

Oh yeah, also had a pair of Zildjian DIP 5A a few years ago...until they broke after only ONE PRACTICE...reminded me why I stopped using Zildjian sticks 7 years ago in the first place.

I'd just found my perfect pair of stick! It's a Vic Firth 7A stick! I just love them!

Did you mean 747 promarks? I've never heard of 474s.

Regal Tip 3B's. Tried em once, haven't used anything else ever since. Big ball tip, 16.75" long. Love em!
