Thinking about switching to Silverfox Rock Steadys, they feel really good too.

I just ordered a pair of Silverfox 5BXT sticks. I've never used any of their sticks before but thought I would give them a try. Have you ever tried this model or has anyone else?

I've now settled on the SilverFox HR's. It's a beefy and longer 2B.

Eddie Van Halen's Regal Tip's are longer I think... They're 17.75"! Check out http://www.regaltip.com/stickcomparison ... length_asc

It's right down the bottom. I think Regal Tip make other sticks above 17" as well!

I personally use 5A and 7A Vic Firth wood-tips, with two pairs of 5A Zildjian nylon-tips.

Vic Firth AJ3
Pretty much a longer, more durable 7A shaft with a smaller tip.
Beat on.

Personally I love the Gadd sticks! They have a really nice barrell style tip. Nylon or wood. I tend to practice with nylon tips and perform with the wood.
