Use vintage drums with vented snares for the best of both worlds.

A couple of years ago a friend of mine played me a
band called Cradle of Filth. It basically made every
metal band I listened to look like "Mary had a little
Lamb". I was expecting satan to come out any
moment holding a dead cat and a bottle of jack.

I'm a musician and I love music. It doesn't freak me out. I hear it and I understand it. If I don't understand something I listen to it again until I do.

The last time I was freaked out, I suppose it's one discription, was the first time I heard Buddy in full flight. Although I'd say I was in awe. Not freaking out.

But then, I've heard a LOT of music. And I don't listen to, never could or would, one genre.
I don't know what I'm talking about!

The band that freaks me out the most is The Residents for sure, the music and the imagery is just a little too out there for me, Mr Bungle is my limit.

Kev
Randy George solo album "Mirrors and Memories" out this year!

I love the Carpenters! Karen is by far the best singing drummer of all time. Actually, she is the best female drummer of all time. She could surely play those drums better than most guy drummers I've seen. I've only just begun to talk about her voice, but I think the records speak for myself.

Please be very careful visiting this site, I take no warranty for any mental issues you might develop after visiting this site. I WARNED you! Have some Impaled Nazarene or Entombed at hand to readjust you musical mind.

I get the nicest "my axe in your head" fantasies while listening to that music. Compared to this all brutal fast screaming growling death grind whatever metal is HARMLESS!
