i want to know what you think about Zach Hill from "Hella"
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." . - Dr. Hunter S. Thompson ( 1937 - 2005 )

The guy is a freak. He's in a fairly recent issue of Modern Drummer (July, Maybe?). It's got Stewart Copeland on the front, anyway.

If you've heard them, you know his style, frenetic.

He looks as weird as he plays, but he's very intellectual musically.

That's all I know.

I agree!
I've heard him for the first time on the Team Sleep LP and I was amazed by his style.
As MyDrumsAreBetter wrote - there was a reaaly good interview with him in a recend MD :) - he is totally crazy (in a positive way)! :)
Rhytm is a way to transmit a description of experience
in an emotional and not abstract way.
It is more than a metaphor:
It is a physical experience as real as any other.
