Grandad slippers.

The best footwear you can wear by far i've found. really lightweight, thin rubber soul so you get alot of control on the pedal and can get a nice flex for heel toe - works great.

Chuck Taylors are definitely the way to go. They look cool & it's almost like playing barefooted.

I normally wear whatever I've got on my feet (converse/vans etc etc). Although I prefer barefoot.

I practice in my big boots. The weight of the boot makes your foot work harder and eventually u get used to it and it works wonders if u have a double bass pedal. You put your shoes on after a couple months of playing in boots and your feet will fly.

i wear these adidas skater type shoes...i've always worn them untied so they fit really loose. when i play my heel can come out of the shoe...i'm not sure why these work so well for me...but i love them! i just bought a new pair of shoes...so i'm gonna try them on the set and see if they work as well, since my adidas are really old.

Ive always just played with what i walk around in. First it was my school shoes but when they got old i moved onto my vans. I just get used to the new shoe and adapt to play with it but im interested in getting a pair of those chuck taylors hearing how good they apparently are.

I alwayse wear Chuck Taylor Allstars esspecially when I play
the drums. Mostly because it's close to being shoeless and
yet you have the resistance agianst your foot that all shoes have.
Theyre very flexible.

I love playing barefoot.. but if I gotta use a lot of double bass, then it's some good old fashion skater sneakers for me. I am in the process of mastering playing in heels ....

I practice in socks since I find it the most difficult to control. It makes wearing shoes seem like a breeze!

Usually socks, but when it's really hot in the practice space i'll go barefoot. The only problem with barefoot is that the 5000 on the DW 5000 Bass drum pedals i use tend to tear up my feet so i have to put duct tape over it. :D

It doesn't matter to me.
