Yea when I finally started to make a list of all the gear it took a little while. Now any time I get a new set, snare, anything I immediatly add it to the list. Its actually how I keep track now of what I have. With 19 snares ( I have two projects that arn't listed because i'm not sure what sizes the shells will be cut to ) and 14-15 sets its hard to keep track, lol.

Yessum, coated reso. It's actually the original head I got from Allegra, and the batter head is only the 2nd. [I've had it for 3+ years now] ... For some reason the snare never sounds bad, and never looses definition accross the head.

Loop,

I was just posting the pic of the Anton Fig snare so you could see what it was, so that you and "jungle beatz" could see what it was. It was the user "Trevor" that uses the Fig snare.

Personally, I use a 6.5" x 14" Yamaha Steel Snare as my main snare, and on occasion I'll switch to my 1981 Pearl "World" Series 5" x 14" snare.

I'm using a brand new (not vintage) 5 1/2" X 14" Ludwig Black Beauty Supraphonic. I have a Coated Emperor X on top with a Hazy Ambassador on the bottom and 42 strand Tama Snappy Snares. It's the best sounding snare drum I have ever heard. Not trying to sound cocky or anything. I spent a lot of money on it and I'm just really proud!
