Ive been going for about 15 years...thinking back..if id hadnt taken up the skins, id be a completly different person..with a different circle of friends, different girlfriend, different house... drums make a huge impact on my life.

Damn. It seems like most of the peeps on this board are kiddies :lol: ! How old are we all? I'm 36 & have been playing for over 18 years with a few lengthy breaks in there.

I'm a 42 yr old woman

been drumming for 2 yrs - but wish I had started years earlier.

I have energy - enthusiastic - MAD FOR IT - however - the brain don't learn as quick !!!

BUT - when I get a groove - fill - song - I'm an ANIMAL :lol:

since grade 6, so thats, 7 years.

also woot for first post. I've been browsing the forums for a while, but my drum set is so inferiour to everyones i feel ashamed. that and I am living in residence right now at university, kinda hard to bust out a full kit in a 10 x 5 room :P
