Still working on this as I'm typing but I'm thinking about switching up the set-up. The pic obviously shows the beginning of the plans. Not sure exactly how it'll turn out.

So, the final set-up looks exactly as you see below. I removed the 18" ZBT china and 16" APX ozone crash. I can actually hear the crack in the Meinl so I'm thinking of adding two crashes, one new addition and one to replace the Meinl. That'll be down the road tho.

Looking at the pictures, it does look very spread out. I think I mentioned this before that I'm about 6' 4" so for me it's not near as much of a stretch as it might look. But thank you both for the feedback! :)

It's very nice, simply put. Not sure which model from Tama you're looking at but I have the 805 model. I was told that the 905 has a much lighter feel but I really stomp on mine and prefer the heavier feel. I love it.

Haha, yeah I know exactly what you mean by working on a budget. Gotta be creative in how to mount all those cymbals. :)

Back to the comment about the toms being far apart, I'm looking into Pearl's DR-501C and 501CE to mount everything to a rack, particularly if I start adding more cymbals so I'm sure there will be changes made to the location of the floor toms. The longer I play with this setup the more I see what you're getting at. Pics to come tho within the next few weeks!

I've never had much of a problem with my 2 leg hat stand wobblying, is that common?

The two two-leg hat stands that I've been familiar with through friends and my own kit are Pearl's and Tama's but I've never heard of any of them having problems with wobbling and mine's been great for the short time that I've had it. My guess is that the biggest reason there might be wobbling would be the positioning of the legs but that's pretty much common sense in my opinion.

Well the first side of the rack is home. I'll have to fiddle with drum locations once the second side is ordered but I like the looks of it so far. I included a couple pics of the new addition below. Thanks for lookin' as always.
