It's time to discuss drum accessories.

tonight i was playing a local gig
and i noticed my china was tilting in every direction
other than where i wanted it to be

once the show was over and i was packing up i wanted
to get to the bottom of this so i took my china and its stand and step it
up as i normaly do, i just make the boom stand straight 180 degrees
and then put the china on and it looks normal just sitting there falt as
i normal would want to have it i looked at the stand nothing was bent or
mishapen all was in good order and then i looked at my china. no key hole or
crack to influence it to bend in any direction. so i began to spin it slowly watching where
cymbal tilted and i noticed as it tilted one side of the felt would bend down and the other
side go up almost as if its pushing the cymbal that way.

so i was wondering can a felt influence the way a cymbal tilts?
and if so is there a cure to this?

or am i just loosing my mind?
any help on the matter would be greatly apprciated

You aren't losing your mind. If your felt is uneven it will make your cymbal sit funny. :)

Is there a way to fix this> My ride does the same thing, and I have to spin it a lot to keep it in my preferred position.

I just got this set in September, can the felts really already be bad? I thought I just needed to break them in.

Hahaha.

I charge $60 to tune a kit and I'll move your gear for $50 a night. What a deal! :D
