i just ordered it. anyone have any experience with it? i;ve heard pretty good things and i need a quiet sound for practice in my dorm.

Well I like the pro mark hot rod sticks and this looks like the same thing. If you need to dampen the noise then get a bass practice pad or something. Maybe you could stuff the bitch with pillows.

it seems to be working great. i have kind of a light touch, especially when playing acoustic and electroacoustic stuff (which is mostly what we jam on), so it's good for what i'm using it for. it keeps the kick sound in line with the rest of my kit when i'm using cool-rods
