I really love them (Evans G2s as well)
They give you a really open sound (I hate muffling)
My only complaint is that I have yet to find anything other than EmperorX with a dot
Whenever you get over 16", they start to dent too easily
That may be because I keep my 18" tuned real low
You say irritant, I say catalyst

Uh...yeah any drumhead will dent when the tension is loose. It doesn't have as much flexibility when the head is tuned up.

Disagree
Black dots have worked just fine under low tension on the 18" & 20" without denting

Nope. Aquarian Performance II Power Dot. IMO, blows any Remo head out of the water.
