Maybe try Josh Freeze's Signature sticK? Those had a pretty snug feel when I tried em.

haha, i know. I just go buy the big bag of all natural wood no brand sticks for 12 dollars. the last time i bought sticks was in 06!!! (i play sorta soft). and they dont vastly improve the sound of the drums or anything. they are just sticks...but some people need to buy expensive sticks i guess. i dont know why, but thats their money.

I've been a lot less picky about sticks lately, if they're nylon tip, not shaped like a banana and somewhere between baseball bats and pencils they're usually fine with me

I play a few different sizes. Lately those have been Vater 5b, Vater Acorn "Cymbal Sticks", and Vic Firth marching sticks for some practice pad work.
