who here uses an artists signatures as their main sticks? cause i just heard that the mike portnoy signatures are a little thinner than 5As and i really wanna try em.

Joey Jordisons are the main sticks for my punk band =]

but i also got a pair of Ahead 5A's and 7A's in my stick bag too

I like the Chad Smith funkblaster sticks but I dont use them as my main ones

ive heard about those. hows the size in comparisons to say, vic firths?

I started using the Pro Mark Jason Bittner's a couple weeks ago and so far I love 'em...

Ahhhh the Chris Adler sticks...best damn sticks I have EVER played.

It's basically the same length and diameter as the standard Millenium II Hickory 5A Sticks that Pro Mark currently have.

The main difference, however, is that it has a much bigger oval/acorn tip, which led the stick to having a beefier taper.
Great sticks for metal if you want a Mid-Range sized stick.

I use the Virgil Donati's for practice, and the Gadd's for softer playing. I like the Weckyl's sigs too. However, with my bands I tend to use the Vater pwr5A's more than anything else. Slightly longer than a 5A so you get that little extra reach. muy bueno
