Fellow drummers, whats up?

I've had the mind to get a few new hardware pieces to try something out on my kit now that my 2nd kick will be up and running soon, but I want some feedback:

I currently have a Pearl DR-80 rack (I'm in college full-time on a budget alright) and want to try the PCX200 clamp for the tom tilter out on my tom arms, but not sure if this clamp will fit a DR-80 as it's made originally for Icon rack. Any thoughts?

Not positive, but I thought they interchange as they squeese the square tubing on the rack. You can measure the square tube on your DR-80 and I can compare it to the diameter of my ICON

The DR80 had smaller bar sections than the ICON rack to lower it's price a bit. The DR80 uses the smaller PC8 non-tilting clamps, the ICON uses the larger diameter PCL100 clamps which I don't think will work on the smaller diameter DR80.

If it's smaller you might be able to shim it with a few peices of steel or aluminum stock

I believe Pearl is the most interchangeable hardware going. I got an old pearl rack at DRT, and it's compatible with the hardware on my Medicine Mans, and most of my cymbal stands, regardless of brand.

That's the thing about pearl, they have good hardware, except their damn bass drum spurs,
