Hey I was just looking for some help on setting up a drum rack. I bought a Pearl DR-501 and I'm using a Pearl kit with the 12",13" toms and 22" bass drum. I'm just wondering any tips on how to set up lugs and angling, and also any other attachments that would help me get the cymbals in the perfect position for ease of playing.

Thanks,
Fo

all i can tell ya is just play with different variations till you like it. i used to have a rack, i liked it as i could get everything where i wanted it it. It took me a while to get it right, so it may take a few days before you get it perfect..just keep trying new things.

Just got a rack myself. Just give yourself a day to mess with it, there are way more options than traditional set ups. As far as add ons, wait until you find you need something, or you will have extra gear laying around, trust me I know.
