if your looking to add a new unique cymbal to your set, try this out...
i bought a 10' wuhan splash for 10 bucks out of a catalog, not expecting much. and well... i diddnt get much. it has no attack and a really, really ugly overtone :?

so i got bored and started messing with it, and since these cymbals are so thin, i managed to pop it inside out.

and believe it or not, it actually sounds really awesome like this. i actually get comments on it and people wanna know where i got the messed-up looking splash. it sounds like a small splash (its higher pitched than my 8 inch splash) and a kinda trashy china sound at the same time... i love it. it sounds really awesome stacked with my 14' zildjian zxt trashformer, but ive been using it alone lately. just a cool idea you might wanna try :D for 10 bucks, what do you have to lose?

HA!!! I bought the 12" at GC for . . . $12. It sounds like a china in a dry room, but ain't half bad in a more open sounding room.

That's what Sabian did when they began selling the B8, B8Pro, AA and AAX China Splashes. I had the AA model. One of the coolest cymbals that I ever had before I began endorsing Saluda.

i had a few stagg cymbals lying about so popped them insideout(back to front / upside down) or however you described what you do with them they sounded cool defo ring like a bell alot more. i popped the 18" stagg crash and it was great for riding on as a crash ride.
Mapex Saturn Series Drums
TRX Cymbals
DW9000 Pedals

another thing to mention... those splashes are so damn thin and flexible, theyre nearly impossible to break. had that one for 3 years, not a scratch on it.
