Cymbal Section Criteria ?

Postby Cymbalista » Wed Mar 10, 2010 8:02 pm

Hey everybody I can't help but ask. Who or what determines when a brand of cymbal get's it's own section ? I certainly can see why Zildjian, Sabian, Pasite and Meinl have their own sections. They are in the order I wrote Sales wise The four largest Brands in the world. According to Trade magazines. Although there is considerable distance between the top four in sales. But the last two brands really puzzle me. How does Saluda or TRX get their own sections ? I'm not critsizing anything or anyone or any brand. To me atleast the last two choices seem out of place. What is the criteria for having your own section, does anyone know ?

Brother Bong,
I know it's a little late but thanks for the info. Now that is something I never thought of. What a great a truly democratic way of doing things. Now everything comes into place. I think I just might start a thread at that. T
