a small china and a smaller splash make the best stacks in my oppinion, but you can stack anything.

i was just about to post the same thing! i have lots of old cracked cymbals that i go nuts with. Right now i have an 18 Zildjian projection crash with a 18 inch a custom china on top of that then a 19 inch projection crash on the china. it sounds gnarly man! I've also found that if i set a 12 inch splash upside down inside of a bigger china that it makes a nice noise as well. just go nuts man don't be afraid to experiment!
