hey guys, I'm looking for CRISP and RING cymbals and hi-hats, I'm thinking of Zildjian Z custom, is there any Zildjian z custome with rivets, are there any crisp and ring hi-hats or cymbal you guys recommended?

there arent any z customs with rivets but there is an a custom here.. http://www.billsmusiconline.com/zila20526.html also z customs are heavy weight cymbals and are sort of made for bashing. in my opinion they have as much nuance as a 18 wheel diesel truck barreling down the highway at 75 mph, i dont think your going to find "crisp" with z customs

As far as I can tell my New Beats are ringyish?...

Not a distinct ring but that kind of tone. Not Dry...

hmm,,, zildjian Z is not crisp,,,, sabian? i have heard the sound of Zildjian Z but not suer which one, i thought it sounds really crispy lol, i think im wrong hahahah,,,, maybe zildjian k.

ks are in nature a bit dark, and from what ive heard they can be a bit washy at times, i had a set and loved them, 14" dark hats rather crisp for a pair of 14s id say. right now im using bosphorus 12" bright hats and theyre hands down the crispiest (spelling) hats ive ever heard

LOL- quite an accurate description, I must say! You may want to look at some A Customs or perhaps some 13" A Series Quick beats, possibly some New Beats in a 13" or 14" variety. You can have rivets installed at the factory as well!
