like I said, you should hear the crashes. this line of cymbals is seriously some of the worst sounding bronze I've ever heard. even zildjian's other beginner lines are a billion times better.

Is it just me or is Zildjian going down in quality? Dont get me wrong I love Zildjian, but think about it when I read posts on here about good beginner line cymbals I never think Zildjian anymore. I dont like their ZXT, ZBT and ZHT's. the titaniums were a complete failure in my opinion and now this pitch black series is laughable. I love Sabians beginner lines and always recomend the XS20s. I've even hear the Paiste 5s and Meinl HCS's are better than the zildjians.

Whats up with this company is it focusing too hard on beginner lines but doesnt have the ideas that it used to?

their pro line cymbals are still excellent. I played some last weekend at the drum shop. that armand ride is sweet, and the K crashes sound just as benchmark awesome as ever.

I never judge any company on its beginner lines, as they all sound like garbage to me.

Let me correct that actually.

Pitch Black = raw stanky ass.

Guys, I found a video demo of the Crash Ride.
But I really want all of you to read the comments.
People actually LOVE the pitch black series.
Trust me, when I read that comments that said "they're amazing" and "i played em in guitar center yesterday, the china and ride sound the best", I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
