it is platinum, but anyways, they sound pretty awsum. crisp as hell. i loved the splash, beat the hell out of it and it didnt crack or anything. id recommend a set to any beginner/intermediate any day of the week :)

ohhhh

i thought you were talking about those ZXT's that come in silves. I hated those things so bad but those Platnums look liked they'd sound a lot better

Have Zildjian discontinued those models? They look amazing though and I would really like to try them some day!

haha no no, ZXTs are probably one of the worst Zildjian lines, even if you're on a budget

Yes, they were discontinued awhile ago. Ebay or Craigslist is your best bet.

My crash cost me around $80 I think and the hats were $170. Just the other day, there was a Medium Ride listed for Buy It Now at $120. I should have grabbed it!

i found the zxt titaniums were awsum cymbals. similar to the a custom projections. really sharp and crisp. great cutting power. i do agree tho that the normal zxt's arent great lol

The Titaniums are too thin sounding for me, they get lost in a loud band

im also going to have to disagree, in marching band, i remember at least once a game, these things would invert, INVERT, they never cracked if that says anything, and although they did project i hated their sound
