Hey everyone! I've heard rumors of the release date for this bad boy to be sometime during the month of May, although pre-orders are accepted as of now. Check it out for yourself. This thing is truly going to be one of a kind.

I know this should go in the classified section, but as of now I am selling my kidney for $679.99 plus whatever it would cost to ship a heavy brass snare. Any takers?

It likely will sound pretty good considering it's no joke at ~$700, and it's a Sonor product, and Sonor makes some very awesome stuff.

that's NOT that much for that drum. seriously. sonor thin brass shell? not their force 2000 or 3000 crap, but their high end stuff.

wow

such a sharp and cracking material mixed with the fatness a snare of that depth is bound to give you

i bet you can get some real unique sounds out of that

sonor used to make a drum that this one is loosely based on, and it's a KILLER.

I've recorded with one of these. this is the drum that danny has used for quite a while if I'm not mistaken. exceedingly heavy, great barking tone, louder than god if you really smack it.

actually, I just noticed that the new DC drum is bronze, and that one I just referred to is a cast bell brass shell.
