tung oiling my snare

Postby Gianpiero » Fri Mar 20, 2009 3:47 pm

Hello everyone!
as the tittle said i want to tung oiling the inside of my snare drum, but what can i really expect from it? about sound... it will sound more deep or something like that?
well i have a mapex deep forest cherry wood 14x6,5... 6 plies in 5,1 mm all cherry, ten lugs per side, die-cast hoops... etc so tung oiling it will make a difference in the sound?
Thanks!

It won't really affect the sound too much.
