I believe Potyondi (cast iron) may hold that title. Not sure if they're still in biz.

The heaviest snares I've ever witnessed are the Ayotte Keplinger Wood Hoop model and the Sonor Signature 8x14 Beech shell, both those models tip the scales at 25+ lbs.

The MRP stainless steel snares have 3/8" thick shells and were alleged to be in the 30lb ballpark. Nice looking and nice sounding snares.

I agree , those warlords are pretty heavy, but I have a few marching snares that take the cake too.
