Hi all I just got my Mapex Pro M kit last week. I love this kit only problem is the snare drum. It has too much tone and not enough crack. I have been playing with tuning and it's still not in my taste. I use a 7 x 13 tama snare cheapy and it's more too my sound. How do you guys like the Pro M snare? Does anybody feel the same way with me?

Get a head like a HD Dry. If that doesn't work, buy an Acrolite. :)

Just what I was gonna say, head selection and good tuning=audible ecstasy!
