@Scrogs: Thanks for the comment
I'm really thankful to my dad yes! He doesn't write a lot songs himself, but still he inspired me, of course.

@NH: Surprising that someone who likes that kind of music so much, is on a drumforum. Not totally surprising, but not the first I'd expect.. :P But thanks!

@ShadowDrummer: I'm not fond of my bekkens! Especially the ride is horrible! :P

I like your video!
I want to play double base one day.
But I don't want to spend my money on a second pedal.

wellll

I finished my (Vocal, instrumental, everything..) cover of Justin Timberlake's Cry me a River, and I'm looking for opinions!
So please let me know what you think.

Aww  Well which series/model do you have/use at the moment?
Gracias for the compliment on the vid.

Well double pedal is completely optional, you can live without it. Heck even the one in my vid is a Pacific402 pedal I got for like $97 at Guitar Center 4 years ago or so. OR you can trade in the ride you seem to loathe lol

Keep drumming. Really like your versatility with Toni and LP. Both are awesome.

Uhhm, you mean beckens or the whole set? I don't know about the beckens... :P
My set is a Pearl Export. I'm pretty happy with it, think it sounds okay.

But last week I had a gig at school with my band, I played on another set.
A Tama Swingstar. Sounds aaaweeesome.
But well, I could make the sound of my set better, with better... Don't know the word, skins.. Pff.. Uhhm
Remo 'skins' maybe.

But there's so much I want that's expensive. I'd like to upgrade my drumset, but I just bought a very expensive piano, I also want a good video camera so..

97 dollar is not so expensive though! How long did it take for you to learn playing dubble base?

I think I like Tama better then Pearl. What do you think?
Is Tama more expensive btw?

I know my English in this post is pretty bad but I'm lazy at the moment.. :o

We call them "Heads". "Skins" would be more of a slang term that works.

You probably could get your Pearl to sound similar to that Tama with the same heads (skins).

Well the bekkens part came from you previous message :P

Tama is a good company. I also have a pearl export and have a Tama Rockstar at my guitar player's house.
Tama has good features for less when compared next to Pearl. As of now I'm between the two but I love my Pearl UltraCast snare regardless.LOL.

As far as drumheads, I would highly recommend Evans or Remo. I'm not too familiar with Aquarian though so no comments there.

Double bass took me a few months kinda. For that level in the video I posted maybe a year or two. For me I just have to think about the note values or sheet music in my head and the limbs do the rest.
